So, today I'm going to talk about celebrities. I am an avid directioner, which means I love the band One Direction. So I also know there's hate on them, and every other celebrity out there.
Here's three of the biggest hated on celebrities, or groups.
Demi Lovato is often criticized for being "fat". Take a look at her:
I think she's GORGEOUS. I'd love to be her! It's called CURVES, you skinny, starving-yourself people. AND YOU KNOW WHAT? She had to go to rehab because she developed an eating disorder, and began to self-harm. Hmmm, why would she starve or hurt herself? IDK, MAYBE cuz people criticized her gorgeous curves, called her false names, and hated on her! She can sing, she's pretty, and she can act. And she gets hate everyday It's absolutely sickening! Luckily, Demi is now strong, self-confident, and healthy.
Justin Bieber is called a girl ALL THE TIME.
Ok, come on guys. If you go to a lot of people and say his name, they'll go either
-"eww!"
-"It's a she!"
-"She cannot sing!"
First tell me one thing: there's this thing, and it's called PUBERTY. When the Biebz started out, he was 14. He hadn't gone through puberty yet. So, yes, his voice was slightly high-pitched. His hit single "Baby" was a little girly-sounding, ok? So what? Was it his fault he hit puberty a bit late? NO. And even though he was a bit girly-sounding, it wasn't like it could be MISTAKEN for a girl or anything!
And do not say he can't sing. You listen to him, and truly listen to it, and you'll find he's a phenomeniall singer! You show me better!

One Direction<3 b="b">are called rip-offs, bad singers, and gay.
Here's them 2 years ago, when they performed their first song together at Simon Cowell's house in Spain:

The first thing most people older than me say is:
"They're copying The Beatles!"
"The Backstreet Boys were legends, they're nothing!"
"90's music was way better!"
"Beatles and backstreet Boys and N'Sync were all better!"
First of all, please check what year it is. I'll give you a few minutes.
Pretty shocked? Yup, it's 2012. You think the Beatles are immortal and nobody after them is ever going to be famous again? You're wrong. The Beatles and The Backstreet Boys and all that jazz were legends, but music changes with the years, and you have to respect the new artists.
People also say stuff like:
"OMG, Zayn, is like, a terrorist."

That really makes me want to throw something. Zayn is half Pakistani, if you didn't know, and a Muslim.
All Muslims get this kind of comment. Me being one, have received some directly. once a kid asked me when I'm planning to blow up the world. The teacher said "Soon, and you're the first one on her hit list." XD.
Just cause flacking Osama Bin Whacko decided to ruin hundreds of lives, and just cause he happened to be a so-called "Muslim" doesn't mean all Muslims like that. In fact, most aren't. My community's motto is "Love for all, hatred for none." Unfortunately, the media gives so many perceptions that aren't true. Zayn doesn't deserve any hate because he's a Muslim.
People also say that they are gay.
One Direction like girls.They have had and some currently have girlfriends. They've publicly stated they're not homosexual. Period. So leave that alone!
Do not even try to pull off the "They can't sing" line. Yup, they can't sing. That's why they got third on X Factor, sell millions, are loved everywhere, and have #1 albums in like 17 countries. Here's one of their bests: Little Things, by the lovely Ed Sheeran.
Thankfully, they look past the hate and carry on.
